Fitzpatrick-Leland House
The MAK Center for Art and Architecture, L.A. at
the Schindler House has fully taken advantage of
the gift of the Fitzpatrick-Leland House (R.M. Schindler, 1936). The acquisition of the Fitzpatrick-Leland House was made possible by the
generosity of a single donor, Russ Leland. News of the donation was featured in both the
Los Angeles Times
and the New York Times,
among other media outlets.
The Fitzpatrick-Leland House has since been
home to the Urban Future Initiative, which provides two-month residencies to cultural researchers from around the world. To learn more about the MAK Urban Future Initiative, please visit www.makcenterufi.org.
