1st Annual MAK Day

The first annual community day offered by the MAK Center featured lectures, docent tours of the Schindler House, a tour of the LIFE/BOAT exhibition, children’s activities, and a photography demonstration, with refreshments provided by area vendors. The schedule of events included: MAK-Talks by MOCA curator Michael Darling and architect and Schindler scholar Judith Sheine; a tour with LIFE/BOAT artist Jason Rhoades, and MAK Center Director Daniela Zyman; Mini-MAK organized by architects Paul Lubowicki and Susan Lanier, who conducted children’s workshops on the design and construction of architectural models; and a photo demonstration by renowned architectural photographer Grant Mudford.
