Daniel Springer
“The MAK residency program and my time in Los Angeles had a profound impact on my artistic practice. It transformed how I perceive both urban and natural environments, reshaping the way I engage with urban spaces and, ultimately, how I interpret and translate perceived fragments into artistic explorations.”
Daniel Springer is an architect, educator, and artistic researcher based in Berlin. His studio practice is called Fragmentographic Studio through which he reflects a transdisciplinary and pluriversal approach to designing, making and thinking due to rapidly changing working environments. A “work-in-progress”-aesthetic and the notion of “sculpture” is in the center of his architectural and artistic practice.
