Jakob Grabher is an Austrian architect and photographer holding a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. During his studies, he also completed a semester in the Academy’s Photography Class, an experience that further shaped his interest in visual storytelling and the photographic documentation of spaces, processes, and material conditions. His practice critically examines the socio-ecological impacts of architectural production, with a particular focus on circularity, reuse, and bricolage-based design approaches as responses to the multiple crises of our time.
Working across architecture, photography, and scenography, his practice encompasses design-build projects, scenographic work for music theatre, and the conception and facilitation of hands-on construction workshops for diverse audiences, including children and university students.
