Raffle FAQs!
How much are raffle tickets?
A: Join at the $150 level membership, and you will be entered in the raffle.
What if I am already a $150 level member?
A: If you joined in 2024, we will automatically enter your name in the raffle. If you joined in 2023, you will need to renew to be entered.
What do I get by buying a ticket?
A: Everyone who purchases a ticket automatically gets a year-long membership at the $150 level, plus a chance to win a prix-fixe dinner by Baroo chefs Kwang Uh and Mina Park, in the courtyard of the Schindler House.
When does the raffle open? And close?
A: Opens March 6th, and closes March 31st at 11:59 pm.
When will the dinner be?
A: One of four date options in June / July will be available for selection.
Will the dinner be inside or outside?
A: Dinner will be outside in one of the courtyards at the Schindler House.
Will the dinner winner get to go inside the Schindler House?
A: Yes, the winner and their guests will get a Director’s tour of the Schindler House and grounds before the dinner
How many tickets can I buy for the raffle?
A: Limited to 15 tickets per individual.
If I win, how many people can I invite?
A: The prix fixe dinner is for a maximum of 8 guests.
Will the dinner include a wine pairing?
A: Yes, the dinner includes a wine or nonalcoholic pairing
What are the benefits of becoming a MAK Center member at the $150 level?
A: Members support the MAK Center and get free admission to the Schindler House (+ a guest) for a year, a MAK Center Tote Bag, a discount on the Architecture Tours, a bookstore discount, and invitations to special events.
What if I want to invite just one person, like my partner, for a special anniversary meal?
A: The maximum number of guests for the prix fixe meal is 8. Any number of guests under 8 is fine. You could choose dinner for 2, or 1!
What if I win but I can’t come to the Schindler House on one of the four dates?
A: We will do our best to accommodate the winner’s schedule but can only guarantee the meal for one of the four dates.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
A: We will work with chefs to accommodate reasonable dietary restrictions, with at least a month lead time.
What is the timing of the dinner?
A: Guests can arrive any time after 6:00 pm. The dinner concludes at 8:45 pm, with departure at 9:00 pm.
Is there private parking or valet?
A: There is ample street parking in the neighborhood. We also encourage rideshare and carpooling!
