Christoph Eppacher



 
 

Christoph Eppacher is a London based architect and researcher and principal of CEPP studio. His work combines an interest in digital design techniques together with event driven architectural scenarios. He was working for architectural practices in Berlin, Paris and London, including J Mayer H, Francois Roche – R&Sie(n), Plasma Studio and Zaha Hadid Architects. For many years he collaborated with Architect Alex Graef on various international competitions. Christoph was a Lecturer at the Studio of Patrik Schumacher in Innsbruck, Visiting Lecturer at Southbank University - London and most recently Visiting Lecturer at the Studio of Stefano de Martino at Innsbruck University. He has taught workshops at the Architectural Association including AA visiting school Paris with Jorge Ayala, at AA Landscape and Urbanism, Ecole Speciale d’Architecture ESA in Paris, University of Lincoln and Innsbruck University. He graduated with distinction from Innsbruck University in Austria in 2009. His diploma project, the Cinema for Silent Movies in Odessa was made under the supervision of Stefano de Martino at Studio1 in Innsbruck.

In 2011/12 Christoph was a research fellow at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles. During this time he was invited for talks and juries at USC - University of Southern California amongst others. Apart from being involved in academia, Christoph works on independent projects through his architectural studio and the newly initiated research platform thesecretstudio.org.

Christoph’s work has been exhibited at institutions in the UK and Austria, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles, and the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2010.
