Morteza Farhdian Dehkordi holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Art University of Isfahan and a master’s degree in urban design from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, which he completed with distinction. He has received several awards, including a selected project at the Architecture Biennale in Beijing in 2010 and the MAK-Schindler Scholarship in 2011.

He has served as an instructor in the Urban Strategies Master Program, with themes including Beirut—Porosity and Lisbon—Power Plan City, and has also taught at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. His articles have been published in several international journals, including Constructed Environment and CIP (Canadian Institute of Planning).

Currently, he is working as a junior associate at COOP HIMMELB(L)AU in Vienna. He is also a PhD candidate under the supervision of Wolf D. Prix at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, with research focused on planning for urban resilience.
